i might try this, but i can't make dubstep or do an actual remix with what i use, but i could try a remake thing without the dubstep idk. Anyway this song is really good
Nah man you did a really good job on that killbot recreation
I like this, but the drums seem very limited. nice job on this
perfect song, i love it.
pretty cool. lacking some variety in the drums, but the harmony and synth choices are great. 3000th listen btw
GD nostalgia...
ok here are my thoughts.
not many people seem to like this, but i do. People seem to be judging this as a finished piece when it seems like the perfect beginning to an aggressive deathstep or breakbeat song. i really like the samples used and the hard side chain. i do feel like if your going to make this a full song, you should consider adding some sort of melody or chordline. overall i think this could be turned into a great song, if you add some more parts, like following this (as the beginning) with a creepy tune or something, and then returning back to this with more side chain or more power. Its up to you, these are just my ideas. looking forward to the final piece!
yeah but I have to know the key
I really love the chords in this, it sounds dramatic yet quirky. Great use of sidechain with epic synth. Dubstep is great too, although the ocasional melodic parts seem too happy or major, not really fitting the chordline. My favourite part is right after that, and the song is great from then on. The slow epic sidechain with kick and snare is great, with the faster part following it being pretty nice. In my opinion the ending might sound better with a minor third instead of major, but it wouldn’t change much. Overall great job, 9.5/10!
PS. My music is pretty bad and I’m still learning so sorry if this is too critical, but I just like to give people full reviews. Keep making music! :D
Thanks for the feedback! :)
I really like this! Chordline especially! I feel like if you raised the key or lowered it and moved the chords up one octave it might be better, they seem kind of low, but up to you. Other than that it’s got perfect use of sidechain, progression, rhythm of drums, and I love the part where the lead synth in 2:15 plays a great melody matching the chords, though lacking some variety. Overall I’d give this a 9.5/10, epic work, keep making music.
Nice, but I don’t think it’s lofi. Maybe closer to trap or house.
yeah, i think it's at the border between trap and lofi. i'm glad you liked the track nonetheless ! :)
